Science Stars - Whakarua 4
Ethaniel and Bren both did something different with their Science Experiments of Tuesday which I thought was cool!
Bren created a whole row of water cups with different food colouring for a rainbow experiment! He took photo's of the process and wrote a detailed scientific observation.
And Ethaniel kept his experiment simple but created an awesome video of the process and wrote a detailed science observation of what he saw. If the video doesn't play then click this link

Whakarua 3 Home Learning - Monday 20th April
What a great start to Week 2 of home learning. It has been interesting to see what you all came up with for our new writing task this week, and I am excited to see what Science brings tomorrow!
Below is some of Whakarua 3's fabulous work from today ☺
In the Spiderman costume we have Alistair! Check out the effort he put into making his analogue clock and his paper planes! He has also included his handwriting - written in different colours, and his maths and alphabet brainstorm activities. Awesome work, Alistair!
Today Olly has created some cool paper planes for his reading task. He made them to look like the planes from the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Olly listened carefully to the Sesame Street video for our writing activity, and has completed his alphabet brainstorm on a Google Doc. Ka rawe, Olly!
Here's Bailey's work from today. She has completed her maths, reading and writing work to a high standard. A highlight was Bailey's handwriting - check out the rainbow handwriting she did today, and the painted letters that she did last week. Fantastic effort, Bailey!
Until tomorrow!
