Putauaki, I was so surprised to hear that Toucan's bright colours help them camouflage in the rainforest, how intriguing. The forest must be brightly coloured too. I love how you used alliteration "crept cautiously"in your story , great work. It sounds like the little dragon was super friendly, I like how it let you ride on its back. I wonder what would have happened if you had taken the treasure in the end?
ReplyDeleteI spy lots of different places Toucans live from Ben's slide: rainforests in America, Mexico and South America, in a flock and in holes in trees. Great job Ben. I wonder why they sit on opposite ways on a branch?
I like your slide on Toucans Abigail, especially how you've included pictures of the fruits they eat. Have you ever eaten figs or guavas?
Luke, what a fab drawing of a Toucan, I want to take him home as a pet. I had no idea before today that they slept in holes in trees. I wonder if that is to keep them safe from predators?
Austin, your bright red 'all about me crayon" is fantastic, I loved reading about all the things you are good at.
Mason J, what a fabulous idea, to put a magic stone in a potion to stop nightmares, I am glad they succeeded in their quest.
Arav, great slides, I see Toucans eat tree frogs, I wonder how they catch them?
Bella, I like the fabulous words you use in your writing, especially "lair" - it invokes visions of a dark place full of treasures. What an ending to your story, I like how it has a moral.
Thank you Miss Matthew from Bella
