In maths, we are learning about measurement. Today we had fun measuring our heights using string. When we measured each other, we made sure that we started measuring from our heels, right up to the top of our heads. Then, we laid the strings out on the table to compare our heights. After that, we lined up in order to check if our string measurements were accurate, and they were! Ethaniel is the tallest, followed by Cody. Gracie, Victor and Ngawari are all about the same height. Ocey and Mesake are also about the same height, and are the shortest in our group.
This is a Year 3 and 4 class blog at South Hornby School. We are in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. This is a place where we will share our learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave a comment. Please check out our individual blogs as well.
