Over the last two weeks, we have continued with the task of adding text to a book. This time we wrote a narrative to match the pictures for the book using Explain Everything or Google Slides. "The Longest Scarf in the World. This was a much longer book and provided us with the opportunity to add a lot more detail.
We had to:
- include adjectives
- use conjunctions
- use the same tense
- try to use similes

Very creative stories! I can see it took lots of hard work!
ReplyDeleteHi Team Toi Toi, we love the way that you created the words for this story. Marcus likes how you have put each page and the writing on different slides so that it changes like a book. Kamyar thinks that next time it would be a good idea to record yourselves reading your story and make the slides a little slower so we can read it before it changes to the next slide. Jf would like to know how long it took you to complete these? Our Sophiah likes how your Sophia has used lots of different fonts for each slide. From Kererū Learning Space at WPS
ReplyDeleteHi Kereru! Thanks for your comment. We really like your feedback, we didn't even realise the slides went quickly! It must be automatic and is something for us to think about next time. In response to Jf's question- it took us 2 weeks to make these books because there were 24 pages!!!! We are really proud of our finished products.
