We found it challenging trying to think of our own text to fit in with the pictures. It was important for us to include adjectives and interesting sentences. Some of us added detail to our sentences by using conjunctions to add more. A challenge for us was to use a hook or onomatopoeia to include sound effects.
Here are some of our books. Some of them were made using Google Slides and some were made using Explain Everything.
Can you give us some feedback?

HI Team Toi toi
ReplyDeleteWe really enjoyed reading some of these. We all wanted to comment on you individual blogs but the internet is not working so well this afternoon. Only a few of our computers were able to access commenting. How did you make your books on slides? What did you use to take photos?
Your teacher is pretty clever to think of this!

Hi Te Mahuri YMS,
ReplyDeleteWe are glad you enjoyed them, have a look at our new ones we've made for the book "The Longest Scarf in the World"- these were super tricky!
On slides we created a new slide where we wanted to by clicking the + button and then inserted the photo using our webcam, or using an iPad to take the photo and add them to our drive.
On Explain Everything, we either took all the photos in our Camera App, or added them straight into Explain Everything.
We really enjoyed the writing task!
