  1. We like your joke about the triangle. I'd also like a greedy cat to eat the food I don't want to like my dinner - Piper H

  2. Hello Brooklyn, loving your home learning, you've been so busy! I loved your Greedy Cat drawings, he eats so much. A bit like our cat Oreo, she has been greedy and eaten too much so she is HUGE. Not like your Oreo! Your story about the floating sheep was fun too, what would you do if a floating sheep landed on the roof of your house? Would you go and and say hi or would you run away? We have six female sheep (ewes) about the have lambs, I am hoping we might get two lambs today. Fingers crossed they don't float like the sheep in your story. Keep up the great work Brooklyn, I look forward to your next post!

    2. Hi Brooklyn, if a floating sheep landed on my roof I think I would try and catch it then lower it down with a rope. I would put it in the paddock with the other sheep so it could make friends. Maybe I would tie a weight to it so it couldn't float away again.

Three of our ewes have now had lambs. Two sets of twins, and one lot of triplets (much more rare, we were very excited!). They are all doing well so far. I have put a post on Te Mauru-e-taki nei's blog if you want to check it out?

  4. Hi Brooklyn, I'm really enjoying these slides. You've been working hard during lockdown, well done! I can't believe alligators lay 35-50 eggs in one go, that's a lot of babies! Do the mother alligators look after their babies or do they fend for themselves?

    1. Mrs Signal baby Alligators stay with their mother for up to 2 years.
She protects her babies from predators such as raccoons, bobcats, birds and even other Alligators until they are ready to protect themselves.
