Yesterday to celebrate Matariki, we had a celebration of learning and shared our learning with other classes and our parents.
We had a shared kai for lunch and in the afternoon we had a kite flying competition. Some of us made kites at home to fly and some of us even won prizes.
Here are some photos of our kite flying afternoon- it was lots of fun!
This is a Year 3 and 4 class blog at South Hornby School. We are in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. This is a place where we will share our learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave a comment. Please check out our individual blogs as well.

Kia Ora Team Toi Toi, I liked how you all met up to share your learning with the other classes about matariki. What sort of kai did you eat? Those photos look great. How long did it take you to make the kites? From Jaydah in Kererū at WPS.
